Our wonderful clients had dreamed of a luxurious bathroom with a large shower and plenty of storage space. They moved into their new home and quickly discovered that the primary bath was tiny without adequate storage and an outdated tub/shower combo. Making it even stranger, there was a large opening for the closet with no door – and it was the entryway into the bathroom.

The Cultured Palate created a good-sized bathroom with a double vanity and a seven-foot shower with a bench, niche, and luxury plumbing fixtures. Additionally, the couple upgraded to a Japanese-style Toto washlet toilet. While the new closet is smaller than the original, to accommodate the luxury shower, it is efficiently designed using the Elfa closet system from The Container Store.

The subway tile is a reminder to the native New Yorkers of their roots in Brooklyn. We created pony walls and a custom glass shower enclosure. The rainshower head and body spray allow for a relaxing shower experience. Going from boring to bold made our clients’ dreams come true!
