Refreshing a Home for Sale

The owners of this sweet cottage had lived in the home for nearly 50 years. They raised their kids, became pillars of the community and grew in their careers. The home was full of great energy and many happy memories. While the home had many fantastic features, the kitchen, baths, flooring, fixtures and overall look and feel needed updating to meet the expectation of the market. Working closely with the real estate agent, TCP led the process to interview contractors and trades.

Acting as the project manager, TCP created a vision to bring the home into a condition that helped lead to an excellent sales price including:

New kitchen counter tops, backsplash and cabinet pulls
Gut remodel of both bathrooms using high-end finishes
Double sink vanity in the primary with a custom glass shower enclosure
High-end tile in both bathrooms on the floors and walls, including niches for toiletries
Fresh paint throughout the home, brightening and modernizing the look and feel
Refinished floors throughout creating a cohesive look
Updated lighting, new doors, modern door knobs/hinges
Beautified the exterior with paint and needed cosmetic repairs
